THE SCIENCE
The Chemistry Behind the Protection
The active compound in a professional ceramic coating is silicon dioxide (SiO₂). When applied to a properly prepared surface, it forms a cross-linked polymer matrix with your clear coat, hardening to a 9H-rated surface that is chemically resistant, UV-stable, and hydrophobic.
Hydrophobic Performance
Water beads and rolls off at speed, carrying contaminants with it. Your vehicle stays cleaner longer and maintenance takes a fraction of the time.
UV Protection
The coating absorbs and deflects UV before it reaches your clear coat, preserving depth and color for the life of the coating.
Chemical Resistance
Resistant to pH levels from 2 to 11. Bird acid, tree sap, and industrial fallout that would etch bare clear coat have significantly reduced impact on coated surfaces.
